Ritual

​​​Einav Zeichner works in various media, to create surrealistic ceremonial environments. She stomps, carves, pours, sews, wraps and burns and through these actions Zeichner creates an archetypal world. The work is made out of the tension between anger and passion, as an act of unloading from a system of prohibitions inherent in society and culture. At the same time, it stretches the boundary between man-animal, instinct and restraint, sin versus purity.
